Introduction and purpose
Because RiseUp IL (the Company) respects the privacy of the users of the website it manages and operates, the Company has decided to publish its policy on the protection of privacy on its sites, and it undertakes towards the user to abide by that policy.
The purpose of this policy is to explain the practices of the Company in relation to the privacy of users of the sites, and how the Company uses information provided to it by users of the sites or collected by it while the sites are being used.
What information is collected about you?
When you use the services on the sites, two kinds of information are collected about you: information that identifies you personally, and statistical and aggregate information that does not identify you.
Identifying information you provide knowingly
Some of the information identifies you personally: that is, your name and address, products and services you have purchased or asked to sell, the means of payment you used, and so on. This is the information you provide knowingly, for example when registering for services on the sites.
Information that does not identify you personally
Some of the information does not identify you personally and is not stored together with your details. This is statistical and aggregate information: for example, advertisements you have read on the site, the pages you viewed, the offers and services that interested you, the internet address (IP) from which you connected, and more.
Registering for services
Where personal details are required in order to register for services on the sites, or in order to purchase products on them, the Company will ask you only for the information directly necessary to provide the services or to purchase the products.
The database
The data collected is held in the database of the Company and under its responsibility.
What is the information used for?
The information collected will be used only in accordance with this privacy policy or in accordance with the provisions of any law, in order to:
- Enable you to use the various services on the sites.
- Improve and enrich the services and content offered on the sites.
- Change or discontinue existing services and content.
- Enable the purchase of products and services on the sites, including the publication of information and content.
- Match the advertisements displayed during your visit to the sites to your areas of interest.
The information used by the Company will mainly be statistical information that does not identify you personally.
Direct electronic marketing
The Company would like to send you, from time to time and by email, information about its services as well as marketing and promotional material. Such material will be sent to you only if you have given express consent, and you may withdraw your consent and stop receiving it at any time.
The Company will not pass your personal details to advertisers. It may, however, transfer statistical information about the activity of users on the sites. Statistical information that is transferred will not identify you personally.
When is information passed to a third party?
The Company will not transfer your personal details, or the information collected about your activity on the site, to third parties, except in the cases set out below:
- If you purchase products and services from third parties who offer them for sale through the sites, those third parties will be given the information they need in order to complete the purchase process.
- In the event of a legal dispute between you and the Company that requires your details to be disclosed.
- If you carry out activities on the sites that are contrary to law.
- If a judicial order is received requiring your details, or information about you, to be given to a third party.
- If the Company sells or otherwise transfers the operation of the sites to any corporation, and likewise if it merges with another entity or merges the operation of the sites with the operation of a third party, provided that such corporation accepts towards you the provisions of this privacy policy.
Cookies
The website of the Company uses cookies for its ongoing and proper operation, including in order to collect statistical data about the use of the site, to verify details, to adapt the site to your personal preferences and for information security purposes.

Third-party advertising
The Company permits other companies to manage the advertising system on the sites. The advertisements you see when visiting the sites are served from the computers of those companies. In order to manage their advertisements, those companies place cookies on your computer. The cookies allow them to collect information about the sites on which you saw the advertisements they placed and which advertisements you clicked.
The use those companies make of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, and not to the privacy policy of the Company.
Information security
The Company applies up-to-date systems and procedures for information security on its sites. While these systems and procedures reduce the risk of unauthorised intrusion, they do not provide absolute security. The Company therefore does not undertake that its services will be entirely immune from unauthorised access to the information stored in them.
Your right to inspect, correct and delete
Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, every person is entitled to inspect information about themselves that is held in a database.
